It shifts fine from 1 to 2, but slips badly after 2 (2-3, 3-4). I am assuming the transmission would need to be rebuilt or just replaced. I am trying to get an idea as to how much this repair would cost.

I am selling a one owner (bought new) 4 door automatic black Honda Accord LX 1999. It has... * multi-disk cd changer, power windows, power locks * radiator, hoses, and transmission all replaced 1.5 years ago * 170000 miles +/- You won't find another one here offering these last two... * tires are new * a new battery was just put in The price is a little negotiable. I'm pretty sure the transmission needs at least a repair, well i pray it needs repairing and not replacing, but I was wondering how much it would be before i drop the bomb on my mom. Oh, and if you know any reliable and cheaper places to go before bringing my car in.
