I know what you mean about those circlip’s Somtimes they corode in to the leg . In the past ive used two self tapper’s and very carefully screwed them into the seal then used the screw’s to pull seal’s out. As the slider’s are Hard chrome it would be hard to damage them . But you have to be very carefull and know the point to stop if they don’t move.
